the day I celebrate hand sanitizer...

It was an end of year party/field trip/program for Lily's preschool. I detest petting zoos, but for the sake of my children, I go. I don't pet. OMF is actually really fun though, it has tons of playgrounds, a pool (which we did not do), a massive sand pile (which my little clean freak -I say that with the best of intentions, was in no way interested, she said "too sandy), and free roaming dear, free roaming peacocks, and tons of animals to pet, see and ride. My favorite part- the train. It was a PERFECT day and she had fun with all her friends, me too. Her favorite part was snuggling with her teachers after lunch. She probably spent just under an hour hugging and talking to her teachers... don't what we'll do without them next year.

SHARKFEST 2010

Our annual school festival always proves to be lots of excitement! I wish I had a good picture of Lily's hair... probably the most unique of all... blue and pink polka dots, she never ceases to be creative!

fruit of my labors

Last year my dear friend gave me a few strawberry starters from her garden. They produced a few berries last year... Then they survived the bitter cold and 2 snows of winter 2009. Now, they are bigger, brighter and blooming! I have been waiting a few months for the first red strawberry. Definitely my most successful garden experience to date!

Beach and Easter

love these smiles!
Pretty girls and Pretty Easter dresses! I am going to try to get up the blue blonnets pictures, but this will do for now!

the Traditional bunny cake (we done this since I was little), the kids begged for this, and they helped a lot too. mud bath
I'm guessing this is an Easter bunny on the beach...

A cloud rolled off the water while we were there, it completely covered us, this was after it had already been sunny. I've never seen this happen before, the cloud was on the ground, it was a little weird.

Sorry this is a mish mash, but I haven't blogged in forever and to make sure I didn't get overwhelmed with the idea of returning, I told myself it would just be a generic picture post.

girls and cake

The girls and I made this, Brooklyn did the bulk of the decorating... she was so proud and so was I. She is quite the helper in the kitchen now! I love my girls!

Those precious aprons were made for the girls (and I have a matching one) by a friend of mine, they are TOO cute!
