...still waiting for school to start. If it doesn't start on Monday, I may need some counseling!

Brooklyn caught her very first fish a few months ago...(very proud moment for her!!!) she actually caught two fish at the same time, but one escaped as we were pulling them out of the water, those tricky fish...getting off the hook like that ;)

Word Play
- The other day I told the kids that my brother and his wife are expecting 2 babies-twins... Tyler said, "How many are we having?" I said "None." He said, "Oh, we already hatched them all..." I guess you could call it that if you want...
- I overheard this coming from the kitchen yesterday morning. Tyler- "Brooklyn can you get me a bowl of cereal?" Brooklyn- "Tyler, You always want me to get you a bowl of cereal every morning, I am NOT a chef!"
- Tyler asked today if his teacher is "the one with her teeth in a bracelet?" (she has braces)
- Brooklyn told Tyler today, "You are the grooviest person I have ever met..."
- Tyler's favorite word-----"eyeball"---yes, still the same as a year ago, he tries to fit it in any conversation!
- Brooklyn's favorite word----- "Scram"---this is when we need to really hurry up
- Lily's favorite words-----"Ta Da"-as in look at me, I'm the coolest ever (usually after she dresses up)

So, is school starting tomorrow? Good luck!
I'm glad we made it through...and by the way you are an amazing mom and friend. Thanks for all you did to help us during the Ike aftermath. Oh, yea....I forgot to tell you today that last night our power shut off for like 5 minutes and then eventually came back on. I was totally freaked.
I guess there is not home schooling in your future. You did good mom, and now it's time to celebrate at Garden Ridge, with fun fall stuff.
