HOWDY!

Tyler is my little cowboy!

Notice the Pink Boots (these are about 2 1/2 sizes too big)--who cares when you've got to be beautiful?
In front of an enormous tractor!

It's Rodeo time again! Everyone knows when it's rodeo time. The kids in school do rodeo artwork contests, the radio is constantly advertising the concerts, and they preschoolers do fun little programs. Those are my absolute favorite. I loved watching Tyler sing Texas songs and doing the chicken dance!!!

I admit it, I love the rodeo. It's just one huge party, right? From the getting all dressed up with your boots and your bling, to the food (anything and everything under the sun can be found from Gyros, to BBQ, to fried twinkies, to turkey legs, cotton candy, the best black bean wraps... I could go on forever), to the loud music, it's just FUN. Except the part where you have to take out a loan just to take a family of 5. (exaggeration, but you get the point...)

Highlights:
Pig Race--which was too crowded, but we got the key chains, so the kids were happy.
Baby Chicks
Newborn Calf
Icees in all different flavors

We did 2 rides. The sky lift gave me a huge rush. Partly because I'm completely afraid of heights, partly because I was terrified Tyler would try to lean over and fall out. The other was a dragon roller coaster for kids. They loved it. Especially Tyler. of course.

so long Rodeo, until next year.

Fried twinkies, huh?? Awesome. :)

This post made me excessively jealous of 1) your WARM weather!! and 2) that you were at a fair (ok, so it was a rodeo, but it's about the same, right??)! Summer can't come fast enough for me! Looks like you guys had a fabu time - nice pics!
