Spring!

Spring time in Kingwood is my favorite season. I get anxious at the end of winter as I wait for everything to become new again.
I love...

• the new green color of the baby leaves
• dogwood trees, and the ornamental purples trees
• the bright flowers at Lowe's garden center
• picking out new plants for the yard
  

We had a nice Easter. The plans got rearranged, we were going to see Grandma and Papa, but because of a few things, we ended up having to make other arrangements. We had the Herrera's and the Hall's over and it was really fun! After an Easter egg hunt and plenty of yummy food and dessert, the kids needed a serious wind-down. We all had a blast!

I think we are making progress in teaching the kids what Easter is all about. Brooklyn actually remembered that we celebrate the Resurrection, which I was so impressed, because that's a HUGE word when you're 6. It was a good day had by all!
