And finally, proof of all my hard work!The much anticipated move has finally taken place. It was great to finally close on the house we started building way back in August, but the cleaning of the old house and the moving of all the stuff was EXHAUSTING!!! The last time we moved we had 1 couch, 1 baby, 1 mattress set, and 1 dresser, plus a few extra things. Things sure were different this time! We have WAY too much stuff. It was nice having all of that junk in storage for a few months, now I know exactly what I can live without! Anyway, the hard part is over. The new fun part begins. We get to make this our new home. I drove by the old house today as I was waiting to pick up Brooklyn. It's strange how I didn't feel sad. A home is not a home without the ones you love in it. It was just a house we used to live in. Yes, I'm sure I'll feel the heart strings pulled every once in a while when I think about it, but it's not our home anymore.
Here are some pictures of the new house for those of you in California who we wish could be here with us. I'm taking pictures now so you can see everything before anything happens to it (we all know how hard kids are on houses... :)

Looks great! I'm especially likin' the wainscoting in that room--is it the dinning room? Can you tell I watch too many design shows with Amanda? Anyways, congratulations on the big move! Hopefully we can come see it soon!
