We broke out the grass skirts and did some hula dancing for Brooklyn's 7th birthday. She has been reading Junie B. Jones Aloha-ha-ha, so it was fitting that we celebrated Hawaiian style. We decorated flip-fl0ps, had pina-coladas with flamingo straws, did the limbo and ate cake. She had friends from the new school, the old school, and some from church. So fun to put a smile on her face!

How cute is that? I love that you were a hula girl too. What a cool mom.
Happy Birthday Brooklyn!
Janelle, your cake looks AMAZING! Well done.
That cake is so much fun! I love it. Your back drop painting is quite impressive as well. Glad you had fun! Happy Birthday Brooklyn.
Love, Kristy
I just love your birthday parties! I wish we lived closer so we could celebrate with you! Your cake is adorable! Happy Birthday Brooklyn!
Where do you get your ideas for your cakes?! They are always incredible! Shayden has been talking about wanting to go to Hawaii since they are reading that book in school right now too. What a fun party!
How FUN!
I had a Hawaiian party when I was Brooklyn's age too! I loved it, it was so much fun. The flip flops is such a fun idea!
Happy Birthday, Brooklyn! Looks like a great party - I want to decorate my own flip flops!! Love the cake, too. Way to go, Janelle!!
